Delish easy made Ahi Tuna Fried Rice Bowl.
Ingredients:
2 Ahi tuna steaks (Sushi grade is the best)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 avocado (optional)
1 green onion (option)
A bag of fried rice (or you can make your own!)
Sesame seeds
Step 1: Combine soy sauce, honey, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper and mix well.
Step 2: Pat steaks dry to remove some moisture and place into zip lock bags
Step 3: Pour the mix into the zip lock bag with the steak and let it marinate for 5 to 10 minutes (or to your liking).
Step 4: Cut up your Avocado and green onions and set aside for later.
Stop 5: In a non-stick pan over medium to high heat, add some olive oil and let it warm up a little bit before adding steak (You want to get a nice seer on the outside)
Step 6: Whilst that is warming up, add your bag of fried rice to another non-stick pan and let that cook for advised time.
Step 7: Add steaks and let it sit on one side for 2 minutes each, allowing it to get nice and cooked on both sides.
Step 8: Remove steaks and let them sit on a plate or cutting board until they have cooled down a bit.
Step 9: When rice is done cooking, add the desired amount of rice to each plate or bowl you will be serving on.
Step 10: Cut against the seems of the steaks about 1/2 - 1 inch and serve on to plate or bowl of rice
Step 11: Add your avocado, onion, and sesame seeds to liking.
Step 12: Enjoy!!
